Our robust Fossils Origins serving platters are made from fossilised compressed sea shells and have similar properties to marblestone. They make fantastic display pieces - square and round platter/boards that will look perfect on any table in doors or out. Fossil Origins is a natural product and as such the hardness of the surface will vary. Cutting with a knife on this product is not advisable as it is likely to cause scratching of the polished surface. The use of acidic foods on this board could damage the polished surface and is not recommended. Not dishwasher or microwave safe. Choose from the square platter or a round lazy susan.
