Le Creuset have done it again with this superbly stylish oval fondue set. It has a robust matt-black enamelled cast iron stand, and an enamelled cast iron pot. Cast iron is perfect for this form of cooking, as it heats up evenly over a low heat and retains the heat effectively over long periods of time. The smooth enamelled finish on the pot means this fondue can be used for meats, cheese, chocolate, or other sauces without the risk of sticking. It comes with an integral fork rest and 6 forks with differently coloured tips. It also has an adjustable burner, so you can control the heat and it runs on both methelated spirits and Le Creuset's special firestar paste - which we highly reccommend! Fondues are making a fashion comeback -hurrah! So get your friends round and get dipping! It stands 17cm tall and is 11.5cm in diameter. Holds 1.6 litres.
