These 'Boot and Hat' mills have acrylic bodies with wooden tops and bases and are 19cm in height. They incorporate the famous 'crushgrind' mechanism. This mechanism consists of a grinder made from a ceramic non-corrosive natural material that will grind almost anything (including dried herbs and spices). It is also very easy to clean as the millstone can be removed and put in the cutlery basket of your dishwasher. One particular feature that we liked about these mills is the ease with which they are refilled - there is no screw top or spindle just lever the top off the mill and fill.
