Electric Coffee Grinders: There are two types of grinder:

- a blade grinder which chops up the coffee bean and does not produce an even grind and is therefore ideal for use with coffee presses
- a burr mill grinder which crushes the coffee bean using two serated mills which produce and even grade grind perfect for espresso.

So choosing is simple once you have worked out exactly what you want to put your fresh grounds in to extract your coffee from.
