Originally created at the Hotel Tatin in Lamotte-Beuvron, France in 1898, the Tarte Tatin is a caramelised apple tart with the pastry and apples cooked upside down. It can also be made with pears, peaches, plums, pineapple, tomatoes and other fruits.
The Mauviel M'Passion collection is dedicated to gourmands who enjoy preparing their desserts as much as eating them.
Made from 5mm catering copper with a permanent stainless-steel lining, which will never need re-coating.
Measures 24cm in diameter and 4cm in depth.
