PEARLY KINGS AND QUEENS FESTIVAL
Forget Dick Van Dyke and his dubious cockney accent and come and see the real thing! Scores of genuine Pearlies in their sequined outfits gather for their annual church service. Although you won't be allowed inside the church, there'll be fine photo opportunities when the Pearlies line up on the steps before and after the service.

TREE INDENTIFICATION AT KEW
On this special weekly tour with one of Kew's Volunteer Guides, you will learn to identify common trees, whatever the season. You will need to wear suitable outdoor clothing and footwear because these tours will take place in all but the most inclement weather (at the Guide's discretion on the day).

The Reading and Leeds Festivals, officially called the Carling Weekend, are a pair of annual music festivals that take place in Reading and Leeds in England. The events both happen on the bank holiday weekend in August (on Friday, Saturday, Sunday), and share the same bill

Pumpkin tasting, pumpkin carving, children’s activities and fascinating talks. Come along to pick your own pumpkin (weather permitting) and see it carved into a dazzling jack-o-lantern. Visitors can also enjoy pumpkin tasting, children’s activities, fascinating talks on owls, bats and creepy crawlies, and new for 2007 a chance to meet an owl.
